Melissa Geska, Chairwoman of the Builder’s Exchange of Rochester, is the President and owner of US Ceiling Corp, a commercial subcontractor, GC, and development firm.
Melissa is an industry leader and was named a Rochester Business Journal (RBJ) Circle of Excellence and Excellence in Construction honoree in 2021, an RBJ Women of Excellence honoree in 2018, and shortlisted in 2018 and 2019 as an SBC Businessperson of the Year finalist. US Ceiling received NYS’ most prestigious honor for M/WBEs in 2018: the Carey Gabay Excellence and Innovation Award. As part of her commitment to her community, Melissa works closely with the Urban League of Rochester in support of their varied initiatives, as well as other local non-profit organizations that help support and empower women and priority populations. She serves on the Al Sigl Board of Governors, Monroe County Workforce Development Board, Flower City Habitat Board, and as a trustee for Young Women’s College Prep- a single gender college readiness charter school in Rochester, NY .
Melissa is also past president of the Greater Rochester Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction.
